IN THE COMMUNITY
Agape Food Ministries
Faith collects food four times a year on the 5th Sunday as well as when requested. The school also collects food for as a part of their chapel offerings and during special events throughout the school year.
Angel Tree
Help make Christmas a little better for needy children in our community. We let them know that they haven't been forgotten and share with them the love of Jesus Christ.
Volunteers are needed to fill out gift ideas on angels, decorate a Christmas tree in the narthex with the angels, and help coordinate gifts for families. The tree will be put up in late November with the gifts due back by a specified date in December. Families select an angel, buy your child his or her wish gift and bring it to the church on the date posted.
Stuffed Animal Ministry
A collection bin is in the church office for new and gently used stuffed animals. These stuffed animals are cleaned and taken to local nursing homes.
Thanksgiving Baskets
Volunteers develop a sign-up chart for donations, shop for food with financial donations, and put together baskets for needy families in the local area.
